The game between Top Four teams took place in Brno. 4th ranked hostBrno 2 (9-11) lost to third ranked Polabi (11-9) 92-80 . Polabi shot 23 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Brno 2 only scored seven points from the stripe. Polabi forced 19 Brno 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 50-28 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Theodor Dlugos (183-1997) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals and point guard Vojtech Synacek (188-2006) who added 25 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Jan Strasak (190-1998) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Tomas Houzar (186-2002) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polabi moved-up to second place, which they share with Liberec. Brno 2 at the other side keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Polabi is looking forward to face Opava 2010 (#6) on the road in the next round. Brno 2 will play against Radotin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
